BGs Bar Review: Mango Avenue, Cebu – by Foreigner & The Chinese

Location : Smack in the middle of the main strip of bars in Mango Ave – opposite Love city
Layout : 2/5 For me, BGs has a questionable layout. As you walk in there are Bars both sides, a good chance for all the Bar maids and mamasan to size you up for potential. A few of the girls will also notice you, most however wont, as the main seating area, is further back. This area, is like a big square of and can be packed with girls and guests! You might feel a little awkward, if not already tanked up or on your own, to go and plonk yourself right in the in the middle of that lot. Instead, you could choose to sit up at the bar – prob with this is that it’s WAY away from the main area where the girls and action is. Further back is the pool area. As such, the layout is great if you’ve downed a few already and couldn’t give a rats arse, but when kicking off the evening – you could find your self in the bar area and out of the action.
Price : 4/5 Prices are OK. Bar fine includes the girl at around php1700, not the greatest idea to pay up front in my view, but if services rendered are not up to spec, apparently turn up the next day and you’ll get your money back (this comes direct from the owners mouth), although not tried it. Got some nice simple snacks here – chicken and the delicious soup are worth a mention!Management : 3/5 Hmmm, lots and lots of very stiff penalties for the girls that are expected to work 7 days a week, all days of the month. Don’t turn up, and they get a stiff penalty, stiffness all round it seems – regardless if they come to work or not.
Girls Looks : 4/5 There’s some nice looking and sexy girls in BGs, that’s a fact. There’s also a few that just aren’t, but on the whole, this bar is probably top of the heap in terms of quality girls in the mango strip.
Attitude : 1/5 Some nice chatty girls in BGs, but also a whole load of them with unusually sour and bad attitudes. Out of all the bars in Mango, this is the bar with the most questionable atmosphere and girl attitude. Same goes with the waitresses and Mamasan (all bar-fineable by the way). Spend and ENORMOUS amount of money and the bad attitude instantly disappears like magic though!
Fun Factor : 2/5 hmmm – difficult one this. I would not class BGs as a particularly fun bar, but its does score high on the filth factor scale. Last visit I noticed a couple of girls, looking after their guest particularly well and participating in a particularly oral manner – whilst another girl, made a fairly feeble attempt to cover up the activities of her colleagues. Apparently, never too late in the evening for a “Full English”, although don’t know if I’d personally class it as “breakfast”. Although I’m sure there was some nourishment value to their feasting activities.
Overall : 2/5 Too many bad points to be a great bar, BUT some really hot girls. Turn up fairly earlyish in the evening, after you’ve had a few, and check it out for yourself – DON’T go there straight and fresh – get a little tanked first.
When I first moved to Cebu some 5 years ago you would swear by this place but as with everything things go around in full circles.
It’s now a bar that you will struggle to find many decent girls and that because there’s not much to choose from in numbers.
They just dont have the volume of girls that they used to have and I find it very dissapointing. I used to have such fun here but far to quiet for me at the moment

I VENTURED TO ABOUT 20 BARS ON MANGO ST. AND BY FAR BG/S WAS THE BEST TAKING ALL THINGS INTO CONSIDERATION…MAMA SANS-MELYN AND GENIVEVE WERE HONEST,POLITE,CHARMING…..ONLY 700 BAR FINE….THEY DID NOT HUSTLE U TO BUY DRINKS EVERY 5 MINUTES LIKE SOME BARS DID. THE DANCERS WERE QUITE FRIENDLY AND VERY APPRECIATIVE….
FOR THE PENNY PINCHERS ON LINE,I STRONGLY RECOMMEND A TRIP TO A USA GO GO BAR///U CAN SPEND $500-1000 DOLLARS..NOT PESOS AND NOT HAVE YOUR COCK TOUCHED/////
